We are very grateful and proud to have been one of only six non-profits chosen by the Bayou City Art Festival. Pink Bows Foundation™ was able to showcase and bring immense awareness to our Pink Bows Safe Space™ initiative this year during the two day festival, October 14-15, in downtown Houston.
With thousands in attendance, The Pink Bows Safe Space and Madison's legacy was shared to an even broader audience. We had an amazing turnout and enjoyed meeting new friends from our community. The Pink Bows Safe Space, was designed for individuals who feel overwhelmed, anxious or uneasy, and need a mental health break. Our Safe Space offers a quiet and calming environment where attendees can remove themselves from the chaos and relax, while also being able to find comfort and conversation with our Pink Bows Mental Health counselors if needed.
Our amazing volunteers arrived Saturday and Sunday, handing out brochures while also inviting attendees to relax in the beautiful Safe Space tent. The entire team from the Pink Bows Foundation received an overwhelming response of gratitude and interest to support our foundation. Numerous attendees mentioned how thankful they were to have a space setup strictly to give guests a place of solitude. While informing them of our mission, numerous visitors made donations to the foundation and also spoke on the desire to help volunteer at future events.
We are so proud of our team, our supporters and our steadfast journey to make the world a safer and better place!
Pink Bows Foundation will strategically grow to host events and fundraising efforts beginning in the near future. Please continue to support and follow our social media accounts on FB and IG - @PinkBowsFoundation for updates.
