Showstop Procedure, a global crowd safety training and certification programme for venues and large-scale event organisers, will launch in the UK next month.
Founded by the Pink Bows Foundation in memory of Madison Dubiski, who was 23 years old when she died in a crush during a Travis Scott concert at the Astroworld Festival in Houston, Texas, the one-day Showstop Procedure course will run at the Hilton Southampton Utilita Bowl on 16 April.
Showstop Procedure has the backing of the Event Safety Alliance, Event Safety Alliance Canada, Global Crowd Management Alliance and the United Kingdom Crowd Management Association.
The global course, which debuts in Houston, Texas, on 26 March, has been designed by crowd safety management consultants Steve Allen (pictured far right) and Mark Hamilton (pictured far left), plus professor Chris Kemp. It has been approved by The International Institute of Risk & Safety Management (IIRSM) and certified by The CPD Certification Service.
